Payless ShoeSource and New York-based fashion designer Lela Rose announced today the availability of Unforgettable Moments(TM) by Lela Rose, a special occasion collection of dyeable designer shoes and accessories created by Rose exclusively for Payless. The new brand was inspired by the 2007 launch of the Lela Rose Wedding Collection and the 2008 launch of Lela Rose Bridesmaids, and further expands the fashion designer's partnership with Payless.
The new Unforgettable Moments by Lela Rose collection includes satin dyeable shoes, coordinating handbags, and satin bridal styles -- all featuring designer details for under $50 an item. The satin dyeable shoes are available in 64 custom colors handpicked by Lela Rose; the designer focused on colors with lasting power, as well as the hottest seasonal hues, including such colors as Cashmere, Sparkling Sage and Pomegranate. Girls' dyeable styles will also be offered online as part of the new collection. The line is available now in stores nationwide and later this month online at www.unforgettablemoments.com. Seasonal refresh styles are expected in the future.

Rose and Payless initiated their relationship in September 2006 to launch the Lela Rose for Payless seasonal women's collection, a line of original footwear and accessories created in conjunction with Lela Rose's ready-to-wear clothing label. Rose draws her inspiration for the Unforgettable Moments by Lela Rose special occasion line from her wedding dress collection designs, which have been featured in a variety of high-end magazines such as New York Weddings, Martha Stewart Weddings, InStyle Weddings, The Knot and Town and Country Weddings. Lela Rose also outfitted the bridal party for Jenna Bush's wedding in May 2008, including maid-of-honor Barbara Bush.
There are five satin women's dyeable core styles ($45), which will be available year-round, including Jackie, an ankle-strap sandal, Gloria, a platform sling-back pump, Audrey, a beaded peep-toe sling-back pump, Diana, a peep-toe T-strap pump and Grace, a bow slide. Additional online-exclusive styles include two more women's satin dyeable shoes ($45) and two satin bridal shoe styles ($50) in Whisper White and French Vanilla, which feature beaded floral and pearlized beading embellishments.
